The Boeing Center in India is looking for experienced Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer to support a variety of aerospace programs. This Engineering position will use Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools to define or revise mechanical/ structural engineering product definitions. The engineer will verify accuracy of non-technical data, produce design changes to resolve discrepancies in design packages.

This position will be responsible to support mechanical design and analysis of wide range of mechanical structures and products.

• The selected candidate shall work with structural analyst to develop the mechanical designs that will work in defined structural environment, characteristics and performance.
• This position will be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with team members in Boeing organizations and shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents.
• In this role, the Mechanical designer will work independently with minimum supervision to come up with conceptual and detailed designs based on the requirements.
• This position will participate and support initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, customer engagement etc.. This position will be located in Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center, Bangalore, India.
  

Skills Required

• Knowledge of Unigraphics NX is a must . Knowledge of AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, CATIA V5 is an advantage
• 2. Experience with PDM/PLM (ENOVIA) and Manufacturing systems is required .
• 3. Hands-on proven experience in design of Sheet metal and machined components design is required.
• 2. Knowledge of structural design, mechanical design, material properties, awareness of Industry standards for structural and mechanical design.
• 3. Able to work independently with minimum supervision, positive attitude and highest ethics.
• 4. Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.
• 5. Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team. Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface with Boeing personnel around the world.

Bachelor or Master in Engineering in Mechanical / Aerospace equivalent discipline) with 8+ years’ of experience with an preferable aerospace company
