Brakes Design and Release Engineer 

Description:

Brake pads, Callipers, Brakes Actuation- Brake Booster & Pipe packaging, Package check & clearance analysis.

Minimum Bachelor level Degree of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Brake System Commodity Supplier/s – Regular Project Team Meetings with Supplier.

Quality Team / Supplier Technical Assistance – Assist Supplier in Meeting Quality / STA deliverables.

Global Brake Core Engineering – Issue Escalation, Technical Experts.

Safety Engineering Team – Support Safety Requirements.

Basic Design / Package Team – Design Package Assessment, Clearance Requirements.

CAD Design / Releasing Team – Supplier CAD Assessment, Design Release into WERS.

 Program Purchasing / Program Finance / Cost Estimating – Cost Management, Supplier Interaction. 

Tyre design and Release

Minimum Bachelor level Degree of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Tyre domain and design experience

Tyre Engineering Management – Escalation of Issues, Status Report Outs

Basic Design / Package Team – Design Package Assessment, Clearance Requirements.

CAD Design / Releasing Team – Supplier CAD Assessment, Design Release into WERS.

 Program Purchasing / Program Finance / Cost Estimating – Cost Management, Supplier Interaction. 

Suspension release 

Product experience in Struts, Calipers, Shock Absorbers, bearings, Package check & clearance analysis .

Design of input rod (connecting rods), Assembly and Part design., Familiar with GD&T, DFMEAs and DVP&R and test regulation., Knowledge of energy management solutions resulting from dynamic events.

Physics-based engineering model tools to optimize design parameters

Experience working with automotive OEM's and Suspension suppliers
