Job Description

We are seeking a developer responsible for building business applications using Web Technologies (JEE /.Net/Node.js). Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop various layers of application, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on other components of the application. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, unit test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Integrate various application components and also with other applications.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Build reusable code and libraries

Skills

• Proficient knowledge of one or more back end programing languages & frameworks:

o   Java (JDK 8 or above), JSP & Servlets, Spring Framework (Core, REST API, MVC, Data Access, Integration), Spring Data, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Caching frameworks, JEE Application Server (Tomcat / JBoss / WAS, etc.)

o   C#, .Net, .Net Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, IIS, Visual Studio

o   JavaScript, Node.js, Express, Template engine (Pug / Mustache / EJS)

·         Proficient knowledge in designing database schema, tuning SQL query for performance and integrating the back end code with RDBMS (MySQL / SQL Server / Oracle, etc.)

·         Proficient knowledge in unit testing the back end, integrating front end components with back end code

·         Good Knowledge in front-end technologies used for web page development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery.

·         Good knowledge in using CI/CD tools (Jenkins / Bamboo / Team City / VSTS, etc.), Code repository tools (Git / Bit Bucket / VSTS, etc.), Code Quality Tools (SonarQube / CAST / FxCop, etc.), Code Coverage tools (JaCoCo / Cobertura, etc.)

• Exposure to Agile methodology and working as a developer in Scrum team is a must

·         Familiarity with Single Page Application framework (Angular / React) and JavaScript testing framework (Jasmine/Mocha/Cucumber/Jest/Karma/Chai, etc.) is desirable

·         Familiarity with code instrumentation, tracing and performance test tools/frameworks is desirable

·         Exposure to NoSQL database (MongoDB / Cassandra /Couch DB, etc.) is desirable.
